Of Solomon
Proverb 1:15-16
My son, walk not thou in the way with them; restrain thy
foot from their path; for their feet run to evil and make haste to shed blood.
Solomon says here, “Don’t even walk in the way they
tread!” Put shackles on your feet if you must but don’t go to their street.
Why? Because the way they go is the way to make misery. The evil go to do evil
so it only makes sense to stay away from their path. Meaning that we should
stay away from bad influence and bad places because one foot in that path, and
not only we will be hurt but others.
